54K-CULTURE | KOREA, A GLOBAL TRAVEL DESTINATION |To celebrate 2023-2024’s designation as the “Visit Korea Year,” the Korean government is holding “K-Culture Travel Events 100” to give foreign tourists the best possible experiences of Korea in diverse areas, including culture, the arts, popular content, sports, gaming, food, and architecture. A wealth of experiences and locations await you!5A Bucket List Favorite:The K-Culture Connection TourIf you seek an experience of Korean culture that encompasses history, daily life, culture, and the arts, try taking a themed tour. Home to one of the world’s most dynamic, quickly-evolving bodies of culture, Korea is gaining international recognition for cultural resources that resonate broadly, transcending barriers of nationality, ethnicity, and geographical location, as well as those that divide the traditional and the modern.Korean culture has millions of loyal fans worldwide. 76K-FOOD | KOREA, A GLOBAL TRAVEL DESTINATION |From themed experiences (seasonal traditional foods, royal cuisine, nature-inspired temple cuisine, and street food) to Michelin-starred fusion dishes, Korean food is the source of today’s most popular culinary content.Korean food, which is as rich in stories as it is in flavors, is quickly becoming well-recognized globally, almost as much as K-pop. Its reputation for its health benefits has resulted in an increase in foreigners who visit Korea solely for the food and are interested in learning about the process by which Korea’s unique foods are prepared. Korean food varies depending on the time of year: the country’s four distinct seasons mean that there are as many "everyday" meals as the temperature variations. Fermentation, the foundational element of Korean cuisine’s many pastes (jang) and traditional liquors, is another element that fascinates tourists.Popular Content on Culinary Culture: K-FoodYou will have plenty of opportunities to explore Korean food, which is becoming much more visible and popular internationally. The Seoul Michelin Tour and Local Foodie Tour introduce various aspects of Korean cuisine in fun ways.KOREA, A GLOBAL TRAVEL DESTINATION:K-FOOD
